Number 6

Andy and I will celebrate our 6Th anniversary this week. CRAZY!! I can't believe it has been 6 years already, although Andy might feel like it's been 60! Time really does go by so so fast. I have learned so much over the last 6 years. I am thankful for those things Andy has taught me and for the example he has been to me. Marriage is not always easy and it's not always perfect, but at the end of the day I know Andy is always by my side. I feel so blessed to be married to someone that is such a hard worker. I know that he would do anything me and our boys. It is truly a load off my back to know I can always count on him. I look forward to our future and many more years to come!! Happy 6Th Anniversary!!

State Fair

We love Fair Time!!! We love going to the fair every year. This is probably the first year in a long long time that neither Andy or I have made the IMPRA finals at the fair. Well, I should take that back, because Andy did make the finals this year he just wasn't able to go because of school. We so miss going to rodeos and we so miss all of our rodeo friends. Rodeo is what we usually do all summer long and something we look forward to every year. This year has been just a little different I will have to say!! We still got to go to the state fair on Saturday though. Andy came home for the weekend so we thought we better take the kids down. It's fun to just walk around, eat, ride the rides, and eat some more!!! Yes we love to EAT. We can tell that Jett is really starting to become a little boy. He loves all the rides, but he is getting a little braver and wanted to ride some of the big rides. He told us that he is a big boy this year and that meant he could ride the big boy rides. I thought ya right, but he proved his mother wrong!! We also celebrated Andy's 31st birthday while he was home. I was glad he was able to come home and celebrate with us and have a little birthday cake. Monday morning rolled around and back to school he went, and back to being a single mom I went!!!

West Yellowstone

We have had a busy, but fun week. Andy got to come home for a week so we have been trying to get everything in we can. My Aunt Melanie was also here from Alaska and brought her little granddaughter. So Jett and her have had fun playing this past week. They made zucchini boats and then they floated them down the canal. The kids thought is was just the coolest thing ever!! We also took a trip to West Yellowstone with the Carters. It was a lot of fun to get out, and to go see Old Faithful, and to just hangout with our friends for the day. Andy is now headed back to school to start his fall semester. He ended up doing really well with his summer semester, and he was really glad to get it over with. Andy is ready to get this next semester going and over with too. He keeps saying I can't wait tell Christmas. I just laugh and tell him to quit wishing his life away. I guess with school that's how you have to look at it, or you would think you will never be done!! We have had a fun week having Andy home. The boys have loved having him around, and so have I.

Here We Come Billings!!

Well, Andy has been off to school for about 3 weeks now, and oh how I miss him. You don't realize how hard it is to be a single mom of 2 little boys tell you are one!! Let's just say that my patience is being tested. Andy is learning how to adjust to being in school 24-7 again. We all knew this program was going to be hard, but not this hard and intense. All Andy does is eat, sleep, and drink school. It has been hard on him, but he has been doing really well so far. This first summer semester is supposed to be the hardest, but we will see!! The kids and I decided to go to Billings last week so we could see Andy and spend some time with him. Little did we know that we wouldn't get to spend much time with him at all. All he does from 6 in the morning tell 11 at night is study, study, and more studying!! I'm sure it was nice for Andy to come home at night and see us all there though. Saturday, Andy finally got a break and we went to a indoor water park called The Reef. It was so awesome!! It had a great place for kids to play, and a wave pool, and 2 really big slides for adults. We all had a great time, and it was nice to spend time together as a family. Both Jett and Nash would have stayed there all day if we would had let them. Sunday morning I headed back to Idaho and left Andy to his lonesome again. Only three more weeks of this summer term and then he gets a week break!! Time really does go fast, we just hope the next year flies by as wild and crazy as our lives are going to be. Both Andy and I tell each other to just hang in there, and that all of this will hopefully be worth it in the end!!

SAND HILLS!! & NEW BIKE!!

Bye, Bye John Deere tractor, hello new Rocket bike!! We finally got Jett a new bike. He has had a hard time pushing the pedals, but today he jumped right on and took off riding. It's funny because when he is riding it he looks down at his feet and not out in front of him. Lets just say he has ran into a few things, and has some pretty good bruises. It's crazy to think that my little boy is riding a bike!! He just is getting to big to fast, I hate it. I wish he could say little forever, especially this age. He is saying the funniest things lately and his little personality is really starting to come through. He can be the sweetest boy or one that pushes the envelope a bit. He is a kid that loves everybody and would be anybodys friend. I guess that's good and bad. Some funny things he has been saying lately are: "Dad you my boy", and every morning he says, "good morning mom, good morning dad, good morning Nash Potato." He also ask every morning when he wakes up, "whats for dinner mom", and "where are we going today?" He also says "Oh Yeah", and "Wow" about everything it's really funny. Oh I just love that little boy.
Oh, I almost forget, I put some pictures in of this huge birds nest that was in our grill. We got our grill out about a month ago and put it on our deck and I went to open it the other day and this is what I found. It is no little birds nest, it was HUGE!!! Some momma bird has been pretty busy this last month. There was also 4 blue eggs laying inside the nest. To be honest it kinda grossed me out. If it would have been a cute little birds nest OK, but it was the biggest birds nest I've seen and it was in our grill, that we cook food on!! I made Andy clean it out, we probably have one momma bird mad at us now!!!

We decided to take a horse ride out on the sand hills tonight. Andy, me, Jett, my mom and dad went on the ride. We went out on the sand hills on the north side where there is not as many people out riding there 4-wheelers. It was a beautiful ride, not to hot and not to cold, it was just perfect. It's fun to go and ride out there and smell the fresh air, and to see the pretty scenery. It was a fun little family night out, except we missed our Nasher. He is still a little to small to take on a horse and go on the sand hills, or maybe I'm just to scared to take him. So Abbey babysat him. I'm sure he had more fun hanging out with her anyway. Here are some pictures of our ride.

Where has June gone???

I can't believe the month of June is almost gone. It really hasn't felt like summer yet because of all the rain and cold weather. I am ready for some HEAT!!! We have been really busy this last month. We spent this last week down in Pocatello at the state high school rodeo finals. My sister MaKale had a pretty good week, not as good as she would of hoped, but she made it to nationals in 2 events; and she was the All-Around cowgirl for the 3rd year in a row. We are so proud of her and all her accomplishments. She will go to nationals in Farmington New Mexico the middle of July. I know she will do great down there, and hopefully she will come home a national champion again!!! Jett had fun down in Pocatello, he got to go swimming and play with some of his cousins. He made a lot of new friends at the rodeo. Every time I would turn around he would be sitting on someones lap eating there french fries! Oh my little Jetter!!
Our trip to Lagoon got cancelled so we took Jett to the Riot Zone. I know it's not Lagoon, but he still had a really fun time. That's the fun of him only being 3 years old, he really doesn't care where we go as long as he is having fun!! It's great!! Little Nash is getting big, and rolling all over. I took him in for his 6 month check-up and the doc said he is doing great. He is still little, only in the 6% for his weight, but 86% in his height. Tall and skinny!!! We only have 2 weeks before Andy will be heading up to school. It is so crazy that it is finally here. We are both scared, but excited. Andy is ready to get it started and get it over with. We know this next year is going to be really hard and crazy, but we hope we have the strength to get through it. So all is well here at our house, sorry I've been a total slacker in the blogging area this last month I'll try and do better!!!
