Christmas 2009

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone!! We had a great Christmas this year. We went down to Andy's parents on Christmas Eve and spent the night down there. Andy's sister and brother, and there families were there on Christmas Eve and we all had a great time together open presents, eating, playing games, and making Santa cookies!! It's fun to get together and see all the little kids get excited about Christmas. Christmas morning Jett woke up and Santa brought him a tent. He said, " Wow I have wanted one of these my whole life" then he said," Mom you think we can watch some T.V. now." I had to get him a little more woke up before he started tearing into all of the other presents. What a funny kid!! Both my boys were spoiled rotten by santa, and by both grandparents!! Andy and I were spoiled as well. I got a new kitchen table that will seat 8!! I am so excited about this. We can finally have people over and all sit down and eat dinner together at the same table!!!! I'm sad Christmas is over, and now were off to a new year. We are all looking forward to a great 2010!!!

Nash the big #1

I can't believe our little Nasher is one!!! It seems like yesterday that I was begging the doctors to start me so I wouldn't have him on Christmas. This year has really gone by fast, and we have been so blessed to have little Nash in it. He is a kid full of life, his eyes light up every time he smiles. He is learning and growing so much everyday. He can be the sweetest boy or a little devil as we say. He can hold his own with his brother!! He is a little peanut, not very big yet, but can out eat everybody and I mean everybody. He definitely loves his food. He makes us laugh everyday and always keeps us busy. I love this stage of life, there little personalities start to show through, and they learn and grow so much. We are so lucky to have our little Nash potato!!
We had a little party for Nash with my family. Andy and I wanted to make it a special day especially with his Birthday being so close to Christmas. We had a really nice dinner, Andy and I cooked prime rib and it actually turned out really good to our surprise. Nash loved all the food, and opening all of his presents. He was excited about everything he opened. It was a great Birthday, thank you to everyone that made it special!!! HAPPY #1st BIRTHDAY NASH!!

Winter Fun!!

We are so excited this month of December is finally here! Andy got to come home from school for his Christmas break and he gets a whole month off YEAH!!! We are all so glad to have him home, even though I have a lot more laundry to do and I actually have to cook dinner now!! He only has 6 more months of having to live in Billings and then he can move home to do his clinicals here. Time has really gone by fast. Crazy Fast!! We decided since Andy had such a long break that we would take the kids down to the Polar Express train in Heber. Jett loves that movie and we knew he would love the train ride. The train ride was really fun, but a little cold. All of our feet was freezing by the time we got off. Jett had a great time, when Santa gave him the first gift of Christmas "the bell", Jett said, "Mom I can hear it, I really can hear it." It was so cute. I love the sweet innocence of children. On our way home from Utah we seen these lights along the highway so we pulled off, and it was the lights at the bay. You could drive through all these lights that they had set up. They did an awesome job and it was really fun to see!! We had a fun few days in Utah. We have a lot more to look forward to with this busy month!! Happy Holidays!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I love this time of year, and I love Thanksgiving!! I love to get together with family and friends and of course eat. We were here in St.Anthony with my family this year. We have a crazy family especially when we all get together. I have grown up always having the holidays with my mom's side of the family. We are all pretty close and we always have a good time when we get together. It was kinda special because all of my grandmas grand kids were here for Thanksgiving except three of them. I have loved having such a close family!! It's kind of a family tradition to go to the movies on Thanksgiving night. So Andy and myself, and my cousin and her boyfriend took a whole herd of kids to the movie to see Plant 51. It was pretty good, and the kids were so good during the movie. It was a good Thanksgiving, and it is always good to take time and reflect on everything we have to be thankful for. I know that my family and I are truly blessed, and we are so grateful for so many things. Jett and I made a list of all the things he is thankful for the other day. I couldn't believe how many things a 3 year old could come up with. He said things like: my belly, Jesus, family, trees, his tractor, prayers, snacks, and juice boxes, he was so sincere when we were making this list I was so proud of him. It really made me stop and think of the little things that we as adults take for granted everyday. I'm so glad my kids help me to stay on the right path!! We Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving day too!!!

BOO!!

Happy Halloween Everybody!! We have had a great Halloween. Andy got to come home this week for a break, and it was so nice to have him home to help, especially with trick-or-treating!! We took the kids to our wards trunk-or-treat and that was fun to see everyones kids dressed up, and to be able to hang out with them all. We then took the kids around to all our families houses. It's so nice to have family close by. We can just drive around the block and hit 10 or more houses, It's Great!! Jett loved dressing up and he loved getting tons of candy, of course! Nash had a pretty good time and was such a trooper. By the end of the night our sweet little elephant just couldn't take anymore trick-or-treating! We hope you all had a great Halloween!!

What were we thinking???

What the heck were we thinking is right! Well, my mom and I got this crazy idea that we wanted to do some crafts and go to some craft shows this fall. Lets just say that all we have been doing for the last month is crafting, crafting, and more crafting. It actually has been a lot of fun and we have had a really good time together. All the crafts we have made are country, or western. We are calling ourselves "All Things Country". Here is a list of some of the things we have made: magnet boards, cork boards, benches, stools, candle holders, signs, pillows, stick horses, vinyl plates, and adding cute stuff to jackets. We have been super busy, but we have some really cute stuff. We just hope that is sells!!!! Oh well if it doesn't, I guess we have a lot of presents to give away. Oh I almost forgot to say how great my dad has been. He cut out all of our wood for us, and made our cute little benches. We really appreciate all of his help, he was awesome!! Here are a few pictures of some of our stuff!!!

Picture Time

I finally went and got my boys pictures taken. I went to Katie Wells and she did an awesome job!! They all turned out so cute, it was so hard for me to decide which ones I wanted. Jett was so good during the session, Nash on the other hand not so much. I was really glad we got so many cute shots of Nash. He would be good for one minute and then cry, then he would be good again for another minute and then cry. I think he was mad at me for waking him up from his nap to get his pictures taken. Anyway I thought they all turned out great and I thought I would share a few of them!!
