Disneyland 2011!!!!

We are back from our trip to Disneyland!! The week we were gone seemed to fly by way to fast!. The weather was gorgeous everyday we were there, and the longest we had to wait to get on a ride was like 20 min. It was the perfect time to visit. We all had a great time, and the boys loved every minute of it. Jett is our little dare devil. He went on every big ride there was. He is definitely a thrill seeker. I kept thinking, oh this ride is going to do him in, but no I was wrong. It was so fun to take a family trip all together and just relax and enjoy each other. We can't wait tell we can go again!! Sorry so many pictures.....

There Back !!!

Grandma and Papa are finally back yeah!!! My mom and dad got back Monday from spending 4 months in Texas this winter. We are all very excited to have them home. The boys have spent everyday up there, and already had a sleepover with them!! I will say it's great to have my best babysitters home again. Grandma brought the boys tons of stuff back, but the best thing they got was a new puppy!! Yes, I finally agreed we could get a puppy. This little puppy is the cutest thing, I love little puppies. I'm not quite sure of the name that Andy and the boys came up with for her though; they named her J-LO. I got out voted and didn't really get a say. I desperately need another girl in the house. We have had a pretty exciting winter taking care of my parents place for them. I've decided that I really don't like being in charge so much. Here are a few of the things that happened while they were away: We blew out the big tire on the tractor, broke the steps to get on the tractor, a baby calf died, the dog died they have had for 9 years, the big door on my dad's indoor barn broke, we had a baby colt that was suppose to be born at the vet clinic but decided to come 15 days early and we had to rush it to the vet in I.F. because it was super sick, etc. etc. etc. It was like never ending. I'm so glad they are back and that they can worry about all that stuff now. exhausting!!! We are all looking forward to our little vacation we are taking as a family. My mom and dad are taking us all to Disneyland in May!! This will be the boys first time going to Disneyland and I can't wait to see there little eyes light up. We are all excited and can't wait!!!! Here are some pictures of our new puppy J-LO!!!

A weekend away

We decided we needed to get out of the cold tundra and head for a little warmer weather last weekend. Andy's brother Jason's basketball team made it to state, so that gave us a good excuse to head to Boise. We had a great time swimming, running around on grass, eating, shopping, and watching some basketball games. It's always fun to get away especially when you have cabin fever. Boise gave us hope that spring is on the way!! We had a great weekend!!

The long winter months

I ask myself WHY do I live in Idaho??? There is all those WARM states just calling my name!! If it wasn't for family and wanting my kids to grow-up in a little low key town I really think Andy and I would be headed south. I'm jealous of my parents being able to be in Texas where is is warm, but I also know it has been hard on them missing home and mostly the grandkids. I am craving spring, those few warm days really had my hopes up that spring was right around the corner, but I think they were just teasing us. SAD!!!
Our winter so far as been good, Andy is staying busy with school. He is really enjoying all of his rotations and the Dr's. he has got to work with. We feel really blessed he was able to find all of his rotations around here where we live. It has been so nice having him home. We are looking forward to August when he graduates!! We pray that he will be able to find a job close to home. We are keeping our fingers crossed!!
Jett and Nash are still little busy bodies. They are really wanting spring to come too, they are really wanting us to set up there new tramp they got for Christmas. It's hard to get a present and not be able to play with it!! Jett is loving pre-school and he loves his teacher Mrs. Jennie. He ask me everyday if he gets to go to school. I love to see him so excited about it, but it also makes me sad to think that he will go to kindergarden in August. August is months away and I'm already getting choked-up about it. What is wrong with me? Nash is talking like crazy and can say pretty much anything. He has become obsessed with Toy story 3. His mind is on a one way track of Toy story 3. The first thing he says when he wakes up in the morning is toy 3, toy 3. And then it continues throughout the day nonstop. It's pretty much driving me CRAZY!!! I hope this little obsession will soon go away. He really is a funny kid with tons of personality. He is mostly happy all day, and he is so easy going which I love. His little eyes and smile can make any bad day, better again!! Here are some pictures from the last few months enjoy!!!!

Christmas 2010!!

We had such a great Christmas this year. We had so many fun parties that we went to. As you can see in some of the pictures we had a mechanical bull at one party and at the other we did Dancing with the stars. I must say good job to Jett he won the mirror ball trophy for doing the howkie-pokie dance! I kinda think they favored him because whats cuter than a little kid dancing right?? It was so much fun and I'm so glad we got to spend time with our families and friends. Santa spoiled us all again. The boys got a trampoline, and mini sleds from there grandparents. Grandmas and Grandpas seem to go crazy at Christmas, I told them that I didn't think Santa needed to leave my kids anything because they spoil them rotten. The best news we got for Christmas is that my brother and his wife and going to have a baby!!!! Whitt is 4 months along and they have kept is a secret from us, I can't believe them!! We are all so excited and looking forward to having a new little baby in the family!! Hope you all had a happy holiday and are looking forward to a new year right around the corner!

Birthday Boy!!

I can't believe our little Nash is two years old already!! Time just seems to slip by so fast. We had a little party for Nash before all the holiday celebrations started. I try to make sure we make his birthday a big deal it being so close to christmas and all. Poor guy!! We love our Nasher more than anything. He is the happiest kid to be around, always having a smile on his face. Some things Nash does at 2 years old:
Feeds himself
Likes to drink out of a cup
Sleeps all night from 8p.m. to 8a.m.
Still takes naps during the day
Loves his Dad and Grandpa
Loves all animals
Loves to take baths
His favorite word for the moment is Nasty
Can talk very well and say pretty much anything
Very fast little runner
He can entertain himself and play for hours
Loves to watch people
Can be very stubborn
Has the cutest smile
When he wants something he wants it now!!
Loves his brother and copies everything he does
Loves to eat poppers aka --popcorn
Makes everyone happy
We are so blessed to have Nash in our lives, and for him to be healthy and happy. I'm so grateful for the things that he teaches me everyday. Yes there are days that I want to pull my hair out, but the good days always out weigh the bad. Happy Birthday Nash!!!

Winter is here

I think winter is here!!! The older I have got the more I dislike the winter months. I dread all the snow, icy roads, cold air, and all the clothes you have to put on to go out in it. It seems like we started off this winter with a big bang unfortunately. I just can't believe how nasty the weather has been already, I think we are in for a long winter!! Since we have so much snow we decided it was time to dust off the old sleds and go sledding. Jett loved sledding, and was yelling yeeha as we pulled him around the yard. Nash liked it for the first little while, then he just wanted to ride on the 4-wheeler and watch Jett. Which I don't totally blame him, I would be a little scared riding on the sled with Jett too!!
My mom, Kale, my grandma, my sister-in-law, and I all got together and made candy one day. It was so much fun to just have a girls day of cooking. We each brought a recipe and made it, then shared what we had to make plates up for neighbors and friends. We made fudge, candy cane pizza, muddy buddies, Louisiana pralines, and taffy. We had such a great time, and those are the memories you will keep with you forever!! Thanks all of you for such a fun day!
We had our ward party the other night and Jett was so excited to see Santa. He was the first one to run up and get in line. Nash was excited tell he actually got up to Santa then the tears started to fly. He wasn't sure what to think of the big guy in the red suit. We are looking forward to the next few weeks; yummy food, parties, family, friends, and remembering what Christmas is really all about!! We hope you all are having a happy holiday season also!!!!
